Imagine meeting your forever cat or dog and finding out he/she is incredible. That’s the word among pet owners who find theirs at Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society – PAWS. The shelter is an incredibly fortunate place for any animal situated here. PAWS will tell you about any medical issues with an animal and really check the health and well-being of every animal in their care until someone adopts them. The experience is like any adoption, not like picking up a stray off the street. The shelter will find out if the animal is chipped and missing or abandoned. If you decide to keep it, the staff will clip nails, apply flea medication, and help with supplies.
