2022: Philadelphia Voted Lancaster Avenue Jazz and Arts Festival Best Annual Event / Festival!
Lancaster Avenue Jazz and Arts Festival
325 N. 39th Street
After holding virtual events during the pandemic, the Lancaster Avenue Jazz and Arts Festival returned this summer better than ever. Headlined by Orrin Evans Quartet, and featuring Glenn Bryan & Friends, Hailey Brinnel, MJS Trio (West Philadelphia High School Trio), Nazir Ebo’s Youth Ensemble, Alan Nelson, Dylan Band, and Kendrah Butler-Waters, the free day-long concert in West Philadelphia saw 80 acts perform for the crowd. While the music takes center stage, the family-friendly event was a great day to celebrate Philadelphia’s rich tradition in art and music. A perfect way to enjoy a hot summer day while enjoying many of the good things Philadelphia has to offer.
