Temple University’s Lenfest North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative is designed to increase the access and utilization of high-impact employment and training opportunities. LNPWI provides job training and career readiness programs that build up the earning potential of local communities through collaboration with over 40 community, university, and employer partners. Through these partnerships, LNPWI is able to offer diverse opportunities to North Philadelphians, all while supporting programs that focus on serving individuals with disabilities, returning citizens, youth, veterans, English language learners, and immigrants. LNPWI provides life-changing programs to help remove barriers to employment and kickstart your career.

Adult learners will find a cornucopia of classes to broaden their base, whether thinking about earning a new degree or their first one, or just sampling what college life is like in Temple University’s adult education offerings. Students of all ages and backgrounds take courses at Temple University Ambler, Temple University Center City. Here you enter a diverse classroom experience as courses and schedules are balanced with other responsibilities, including work, family or any other requirements. Classes are held in the evening and majors may be completed at night. College credits can even be earned without being admitted to a degree program. The options are limitless whether the goal is to pursue undergraduate, graduate, professional school admissions, professional development or personal enrichment opportunities!
