He switched direction in preparing the team for the current season, bringing the athletes out of Philadelphia to New York’s SUNY Maritime College in the Bronx. The decision helped the Owls become a more cohesive group, working together as the team headed into the 2021 season. The two weeks of training camp to focus on becoming a close group gave athletes an experience to improve their skills and develop more team spirit. This exceptional coaching style has gained notice among colleagues and sportsmen, making Carey a standout!
