Theatre Exile is a nonprofit theatre company committed to helping to foster art in the city of Philadelphia. The theatre company has been a beloved part of the community for over 25 years with ticket offerings ranging from single events to yearly subscriptions. For more than a quarter of a century, Theatre Exile has been introducing new acts in theater to Philadelphia through artistic programming, free in-school education programs, community outreach work with outdoor performances, workshops, readings and other creative presentations. The nonprofit theater is dedicated to enhancing the cultural experiences of Philadelphians “through staging works that engage the imagination.” The theater works to reach new theater enthusiasts by offering new works, as well as those established plays that are “often reinterpreted in original ways.” Not only is it a great place to enjoy a performance, but it also offers those looking to break into the world of theater a chance to shine.
